I am an infrequent Aussie seller on ebay listed an item for $300- for pick up (then contacted by buyer via- odd message on mob, then gmail messages started ) don't know how they got my gmail?) buyer wanted me to hold the item, she would pay $50 more than asking price. I was uneasy straight away fortunately, then my suspicions were confirmed in their next email see quoted below:-
" The pick-up agent requested the pick-up fee of $350 before they will schedule a pick date and time. They only accept Neosurf Voucher as their mode of payment for safe cash conversion but unfortunately, I am unable to get to any store at the moment to purchase the Neosurf Voucher due to my present location on the sea. I will include the $350 to the money I am sending to you right away so you can help me with the Neosurf Voucher. You can buy the Neosurf Voucher at any BP AUSTRALIA Location or you can buy it at any store around you or better still use the link below to search the nearest store close to you by selecting Australia as your country and also select your region and city". with a link to Neosurf
Another email said she had made the payment to Paypal she hadn't

If you want to warn Aussie sellers, perhaps you should post on the abay's Australian site.
