Since I started using promoted listings my sales come to a snail pace. I sell a variety of items. New but was doing well, no next to nothing. I stopped promoted sales this morning to see if that helps. Any one else having issues?

I've never used promoted listings before. Sales have been very slow for me and other sellers as well. Yesterday, had two sales. Hopefully, that's a good sign of things to come.
Keep your head up and good luck to you.

My sales have been ups since I started using promoted listings on everything. Right now up 88.7% to last 31 days and up 44.6% to last year. But with all these glitches today and not being able to list. Who know if that will continue.

I do not understand even after taking promoted off I can not find my items on eBay search or Google search but items on etsy pull right up. Getting very discouraged. I am small lister but have invested a lot for us at this point.

how are you searching? what terms? I found your Bear and Trout Ceramic Salt and Peppers under that and also under Bear Ceramic Salt and Pepper shakers.

Yes. Thankful I went back to work last year. This is dreadful.

A lot of your stuff doesn't have a brand name. I would never find your listings unless I was browsing pages of items in the categories you use.

I was able to find this item and couple others but that was all. I searched many different ways including exactly what was in my title, listing and such. Thank you for your assistance .

you could check the date when your listings automatically renew if fixed price. end them all a couple of days before scheduled. wait a day or so and then mark all of them to 'sell similar' in order to remove all of the old search engine history which more than likely puts them low down in search results.
this allows clear, fresh, new listing status but removes all watchers and history...
sometimes it is worth taking a chance

make sure you do this while you still have your free listings to cover or it will cost like a big dawg … (for my post above)

Same here down 80% across all my selling accounts since mid-July. Time to leave this place for good.
i'm still trying to remain optimistic that ebay will finally get it together with managed payments, and give it a try/test drive before I commit to loading up and getting the heck out of dodge.
i'm seeing some people saying that managed payments is slowly improving, and others saying it's regressing … so I guess it's a dice roll 😮
