Have just realized that I mistakenly  put a lighter I'am selling  up twice ,both or the same lighter have two different item numbers

I see you already have bids on both. Pick one, cancel the bid and end the listing.

Pick one to cancel, but make sure you CANCEL ALL THE BIDS FIRST.

It is not necessary to cancel the bids separately first.  When the seller starts the process of ending the auction early, they must choose between (1) sell to the high bidder or (2) cancel all the bids and end with no transaction.

Oh ok. I have seen other people stress that so I just assumed that is how it was. I can't remember the last time I ran an auction. 🙂

People who believe that they have to cancel all the bids before they start the cancellation process would never see that option as part of the cancellation process so they wouldn't have a chance to learn that it happens..
