A buyer requested to return an item but now wants to cancel the return and keep the item. How do I proceed?

Re: returns

Buyer needs to cancel it from their end.

Was this request a SNAD request? If so, they need to cancel within three days, or you will have to accept the return. If neither of you act, eBay will close in favor of the seller.

If it a remorse return and you do not take returns, you can just deny it. Make sure it is a remorse reason chosen though.

More details would narrow answers down.

Re: returns

Without more details, sounds like they're...................fishing...........for maybe a partial refund???

Re: returns

Buyer claimed item was defective and requested a return. I accepted and sent a return shipping label. Just got a message from buyer saying that he figured out the problem and wants to know how to cancel the return.

Re: returns

If they have not entered tracking, then after 7 days (might be more, I'm not sure) then call ebay and make sure that you have a CS in the US and have them read his message to you and the fact that the buyer hasn't shipped the item back, and then close the case for you.

Re: returns

@lisajimfishing See that tiny link under the big blue button? Buyer can click that to close their request.
