I have over 9,000 free fixed listings to use. Just tried to relist over 40 items and it shows I will be charged $9.25
what is going on?
Now I know I'm in the transfer phase to MP, but I also have issues with that.
on July 21st I copied this information on my seller hub:
We’ll email and notify you in My eBay Messages before activating your account for managed payments, starting We’ll email and notify you in My eBay Messages before activating your account for managed payments, startinglate July 2020.late July 2020. You’ve successfully registered for managed payments. Thanks for getting your business ready early.
On August 12th, I noticed this on my seller hub along with the above statement:
You need to update the bank account you provided to get ready for managed payments. No e-mail was sent to me. Only seen it on my hub.
So, I just sent them the same information that I did before. Now my seller hub says this in place of the "you need": You recently updated your bank details. After we review these updates, we'll follow up with you via email.
How many times does this take and am I possibly being punished now? Anyone else having this issue or did in the past?

Your thread yesterday included a significant copy-and-paste from your records of free insertions available and used. The counter for the 10K free bonus insertions was included in that and showed that some had been used, so you apparently do qualify for them.
As explained in your thread yesterday: Many of your listings are not eligible for the 10K extra free insertions. Only selected categories are eligible. For instance, wIthin the Sports Memorabilia category, the only subcategory that is eligible for the free insertions is Sports Trading Cards. The other subcategories such as apparel aren't eligible for the extra free insertions.

So you noticed they took that post down? I assume they did. Did not see it and never received a message about it. As I stated in the post, I did not mean to do anything wrong. Anyone who posts, a viewer can click on them and see what they are selling. Another member stated it would be looked at as advertising.
so eBay has changed things again? I can't keep up with all of this! It's like having another job that does not pay.
If this is the new eBay guideline on free additional listings, they are worthless! I still wonder if I'm being dinged until they get me over to MP.

Besides the good information that @nobody*s_perfect mentions from yesterday...
I wondered if you were using too many listings on an item. For example, the ND pullovers are listed twice... listings with a shipping option and listings with free local pickup. Couldn't you just add 'Offer Local Pickup' for each one listing?
I didn't look far (how many of your items were set this way) but you might be able to cull some listings there.

eBay did not take down your thread from yesterday. You even replied to it, twice. Your post included the listings counter which showed that you are indeed getting the free insertions that only MP sellers get. Here it is:
https://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/eBay-con-fees/m-p/31144635#M1632510
Nothing has changed. The original announcement about the 10K additional insertions included the list of eligible categories.

The additional free insertions aren't "worthless." Over 200 of your items are Collectibles, which is an eligible category.

when I looked today, the posting was not there.
Yes, I have collectables, but everything I want to relist right now seems to come with a fee.
Just curious. Do you work for eBay? I see you have nothing listed unless you are using another I.D.
If you are working for eBay, please share with others in the office.
thank you

so there is a way to block your ID when posting or commenting or you have second ID that you don't use for selling?
You have to be an eBay member in order to post.

Many eBayers have more than one account and more than one ID.
Some choose to post under one ID and sell under another.
It's all totally "legal" and acceptable.
I have a couple ID's too, but am too lazy to go log into the other one most of the time!

That's odd. It was there when I looked just now . . . are you sure you are looking in the right place? Do you need some help with how to find your previous threads/posts? I'd be glad to post a step-by-step "how to."
