refunding

Have not sold for a long, long time, so maybe I'm not qualified to answer, but this was the rule when I DID sell and it probably still holds:  If a seller ships without tracking, and the buyer opens an item not received case, the seller will be required to refund that buyer in full.

You are weighing the cost of shipping vs item not received claims. There's nothing wrong with this if you accept the risk.

If you have a problem with refunds, you should probably ship with tracking.

@loumil46

Tracking is a must and if you choose to by pass tracking this is what can happen.  You must refund their money or Ebay will do it for you with your funds and you will receive a defect.

Here's a link to get you started:

https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund/

Good luck.

Where are you shipping to  that USPS doesn't offer tracking?

If you send the video games First Class Package it has tracking to the US and most countries. (They aren't allowed in Media Mail)

DVDs sent First Class tracks to the US and most countries. Unlike video games DVDs can go Media Mail and Media Mall tracks.

@fab_finds4u  A 99 cent non machinable stamp is an example of how such an item could be sent w/o tracking...
