Did you mean:

"structured data fields available for Business Policies."

As part of my Item Description, I give my store's location for mailing a check for payment. That doesn't seem to be permitted. I see this notice: "Details about payment, shipping, or returns should be included in the structured data fields available for Business Policies."

Is there a structured data field specifically for addresses? Or does it belong in the field, "Additional checkout instructions"? Not really sure how to comply with this.

Thanks!

Thank you, everyone. I know what to do now.

Under My eBay > Account tab, there is a Business Policies link where we enter standard information that applies across our product pages. On the product pages are drop-down boxes where we'll select those policies. I started doing that. I also removed the accepting checks stuff.

I am now going through the items one by one to change the drop-downs to my new default settings. I notice on this particular page, though, only one setting option appears instead of all of them, so I can't select my default setting for that item. Hmmmm.

Thank you, everyone.

Can you even accept a check by mail under eBay's new "no contact before the sale" policy?

I think you would have to remove those from your listing and only supply it AFTER they have committed to purchase.

Checks, Money Orders etc. are only allowed in certain Categories.

Toy and Hobbies isn't one of them!

I guess ebay's bots aren't as smart as they think they are.

Phone #, accepts checks and money orders right in the listing - even ones just listed.

Now, I don't blame the OP - if I thought I could get away with 'Money orders and checks preferred' in my listings, I would. But I usually had Please email/mail any questions to and my name/address in the shipping section. Now I just include it on the invoice sent.

Not everyone who buys antiques wants or has a PP account.

Oh, now the drop-down works and is showing all the options on the problem page. Great!
