"We've made some improvements"

Hello,

I really like "we've made some improvements" and we can really see what we are buying now much better.

However, the logo pops up every time I look at something. Hopefully, it will not showing soon. Tomorrow would be nice.

I have seen it so much I can repeat all 3 statements on the logo...advertising by heart.

Re: "We've made some improvements"

Learn to ignore repetitive messages.  To keep my bp down, I will actually curse at the computer when Ebay suggests that I start something at 99 cents.  Soon they will stop that one and then give you another one.  The one that I had for a very, very long time was the one for the Ebay International program. It was starting to annoy me a bit after I joined the program.  Don't let it get to you.

@12345jamesstamps

I haven't seen that yet.  What ARE the three improvements?

Re: "We've made some improvements"

A larger photo of item would looking to buy something.

And then there's a magnifying glass to see something really close up.

Number three I am not sure what it is.

Re: "We've made some improvements"

Can no longer view sold items, if I click on a sold item I'm presented with "The item you selected has ended, but we found something similar." They tried this a year or 2 ago, seems like enough people complained then that they brought back the option. I find this highly annoying as I look at a lot of sold listings when I'm researching prices for my items.

EBAY PLEASE BRING BACK THE OPTION TO VIEW SOLD ITEMS!

So, this only lasted for one day. I think it might be gone forever?

Re: "We've made some improvements"

There are no improvements, just more irritants.

"We've made improvements" translates to, "Here's the latest mindless degradation of the system to justify the existence of management."

"To provide better service" translates to, "Your hassles are about to increase, but our bottom line sure looks better."

"You will find some changes" translates to, "Things had been working pretty smoothly, and where's the challenge in that?"

Re: "We've made some improvements"

Who thought of this? It is so annoying. It covers the listing when you just ignore it.  Obviously, it should only show up once. Fix it pronto, ebay or I won't be buying anything!

Re: "We've made some improvements"

This one is old, not my own, and I have never tracked down who wrote it.  It explains why so big organizations, private and public, whatever their purpose, behave as they do.

***New Element identified***

A major research institution recently announced the discovery of the heaviest element yet known to science.  This new element has been tentatively named "Administratium."

Administratium has one neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy Neutrons and 111 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312.   These 312 particles are held together by a force called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.

Since Administratium has no electrons, it is inert.  However, it can be detected as it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact.  A minute amount of Administratium causes one reaction to take over four days to complete when it would normally take less than a second.

Administratium has a normal half-life of three years; it does not deteriorate but instead undergoes a reorganization, in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons and assistant deputy neutrons exchange places.

In fact, Administratium's mass actually increases over time, since each reorganization causes some morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes.  This moron-promoting characteristic has led some scientists to speculate that Administratium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as "Critical Morass."
