"Unanswered question" but there's nothing in my inbox

One of my items has the "Unanswered Question" box on it, but there's absolutely nothing in my inbox from anyone except Ebay. When I click the "Respond" button, it simply takes me to a new message page, and I still can't find the original message I was supposedly sent. Has anyone else had this issue? I have no idea how to get through to Ebay with this because there's no "message malfunction" route on their Contact Us page.

To remove the answer question, go to the right hand side of the item in my ebay and click on the more actions drop down menu. There you will find an option to "mark as answered". Select that option and the message wil go away. Try that and it should work.

I've seen how to do that, I just want to actually read the message.

If it was a question about an item (which apparently it was), you've probably already read it and responded in eBay messages rather than from the item listing itself.

@bisexual.isaac, Maybe it was from eBay asking if you realize that No Returns doesn't mean you will not accept returns?

UPDATE: Ten hours after the message was sent, it finally showed up in my inbox. What is going on with Ebay messaging lately?

They're a (supposedly) tech company who can't seem to ever get the tech issues right.
