So what's the real difference between these? I'm trying to make sense out of the tracking status as my buyer is bothering me about it.
FYI, I didn't use a Scan Sheet for this one (a reason I don't want to get into). I can confirm I created this shipping label on 6/1 1:13am. But what's with the other two status updates on 6/1? What do they actually mean? According to it, how am I able to upload tracking hours before I create the shipping label?

Both of those all mean about the same thing. It's just the PO updating their systems from eBay's systems. The one that counts is the Acceptance scan. It appears to the buyer on this one that you didn't actually mail the item until the 3rd, even if you dropped it off before that. That's why you always want to have it scanned in your presence if you want to insure that they get the right ship date. Drop it in a box or slot, and it might sit for a couple of days before they get around to scanning it.

To a Buyer it looks like you created a label on 6/1 @ 8:13am and the PO took possession of the item at 6:25pm on 6/3;
Is this the info on e-Bay or the USPS website? Website is always more detailed than what e-bay picks up - use tracking history on USPS to cut/paste and link to your Buyer.

Tracking number provided - when the label is generated.
Pre-Shipment Info Sent USPS Awaits Item - ebay has provided USPS with the tracking info to expect a package with that tracking.
Shipping LBL Created USPS Awaits item - ebay has finalized the shipping label with tracking as the actual label you are using & item is pending handoff to USPS.
Origin Acceptance - first scan by USPS they acknowledge possession of package with tracking number.
The sad part is - unless USPS actually scans the tracking, your package could go as long as 3 weeks before someone scans it. Media Mail is horrible for this happening.

I was getting a lot of that back in November..a typcial monday dropff would not show accepted until wednesday sometimes. anyways the drop box had problems and I went tinto the window section with my packages.
the clerk told me Monday morning that my 1st class packages would not leave the PO till wednesday.
its not a small post office either but I dont run it
when buyers see that kind of tracking...........some get an attitude

yes a buyer can get "an attitude" when the seller dos not get the item scanned and it looks like a scam. SCAN YOUR SHIPMENTS

You have your reason for not getting a scan at drop off but for those reading this thread, it is best to not just drop off your eBay packages without getting a USPS scan. We have a post office (not mine but not far) that is open until 7 PM. They also now have self service kiosks where you can scan your own pre-paid packages and print a receipt. During the pandemic the line to get scans from a counter person was about 50 people long, snaking around inside the post office with social distancing. Now, as long as the kiosks are working it is easy peasy. I see some peole just dropping off their packages without getting a scan. They must not be eBay packages or they don't care if they are scanned in timely. To avoid losing Top Seller status and whatever it gets you, always do your best to get a scan inside the post office and get a receipt.
