Look at one of the OP's listings devon@ebay like item 235262004994 and you'll see the "sell now" link is missing from under the listing photo. More item numbers:
235046921935 235256009393 285255290033 285521856690
Then look at a different listing like 204418351144 and the "sell now" link is present.
As others have mentioned, this appears to be exclusive to P&A.

I'm still seeing it right under the main picture. Says 'Have one to sell? Sell Now'.
"Sell Now" is a hot link to create a listing.

Mine still shows. Maybe it's disappeared for other categories.
Devon@eBay can you find out if this is a glitch or a new feature?
Thanks in advance

@ci-motorsports interesting - I wonder if that has anything to do with Guaranteed Fit?
Perhaps eBay is getting too many complaints/issues because of people using Sell Similar and not taking the time to change any fitment details as needed. 🤔

"Sell Now" and "Sell Similar" are two different functions.

Hey @ckimodog! I have not heard of any changes to the "Sell Similar" feature. @ci-motorsports Do you mind sharing a few item numbers for where you are running into this so I can take a look into it?

devon@ebay : I can confirm that. The link that's missing should appear below the main photo of the listing. Although we call it "Sell Similar," that's only for copying one of your own listings. When using someone else's listing as a starting point, "Sell Like Item" is the process that's invoked, which gives you the original seller's Title, Category and Item Specifics, though not their photos or description.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/235262007319 is missing the link from below the main photo.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/374991203915 is showing "Have one to sell? Sell now" below the main photo where I would expect to see it.

I always use fitment data from MyFitment when its available for all of my listings. Fitment data is very important when listing in vehicle or powersports parts categories and I always double check the listing category when using the sell similar feature. But I could see that becoming a rampant issue for people who never pay attention when using the sell similar feature.

@ci-motorsports that was exactly my thought.
While sellers like you do check all of the info copied over for accuracy, many do not. Since the Guaranteed Fit program depends on the fitment information provided in the listing, if the listing displays info that isn't actually accurate for that part, eBay will be on the hook for the free return label.
The FAQ for the program states "* Misuse of eBay Guaranteed Fit may be subject to a range of actions, such as losing eBay Guaranteed Fit benefits and/or seller protections."
However arguments could be made about "misuse" versus accidental/unintentionally wrong info and either way I'm sure eBay does not want to expend the resources to police it that strictly or risk alienating sellers from the program.
So a "compromise" solution might be to simply remove the Sell Now button, getting rid of the ability to copy over info from other listings in those categories, and forcing sellers to input their own information for each listing.
That's all just me guessing at what may be going on here, but considering we aren't seeing reports of this in any other categories so far, it's a plausible explanation.

This is going to be a major, major inconvenience. Fitment information already isn't copied over, and that's all that should matter for the guaranteed fitment policy. Forcing us to manually select the category and item specifics doesn't seem like it would be an issue, but over thousands and thousands of listings that extra 20 seconds per listing adds up, and I don't see the benefit when we already have to manually enter fitment data.

Its nice to look up the part, get an average price then click the sell similar button and skip having to start from scratch. When your listing 100 parts a day that extra time adds up fast.

I think we need to remember where we are - when was the last time eBay did something that was actually helpful and not a kick in the pants for no good reason?
