Hopefully, positively. Heck, the air outside even smells a little more affordable today. 🙌

I'm off and running. In fact, this weekend I've already had double the weekend sales I had in the last 3-4 years since covid. Whether the current positive climate has anything to do with it, I'm not sure. But I feel a whole lot better about the online business climate than I've felt in many years.

I believe buyers will be feeling better about loosening up their funds and ordering now, too.

Simple cause and effect - and common sense.

Cheers, Duffy

The smell out there isn't fresh air.

I think deJoy will be given more time to destroy USPS in favour of the couriers and other shipping companies he has investments in.

The cost of shipping will rise.

Those who are optimistic and hope for the best will generally be happier.

Things do feel better already. 😀

The "interesting times" quote is meant to be ironic -- i.e., that you're living in a period of unrest and uncertainty.

Sounds about right. By the way, did the price of eggs magically come down at noon today?

I'm absolutely convinced that changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America will have a positive impact on everyone's sales.  Once we own Greenland, that should generate a bunch of new US buyers too, especially in the parka and snowshoe categories.

Can anyone explain the "strange salute" given today by the right hand man during his speech?  Interesting times for sure.

I don't  know about eggs, but the price of gas went up this morning 10 cents a gallon at the Texaco on Waldo Rd in Gainesville FL.  Two other stations were changing the price on the their signs as I  passed.

That's because that oil was drilled for in the Gulf of Mexico.  Once it comes from the Gulf of America, it will be a lot cheaper.

There is an excellent chance deJoy will be fired. Reports are that as soon as the president fills the current vacant seats on the board that governs the PO it will happen. (Yes, even though he appointed deJoy).

The cost of shipping will rise.

The new board will outsource much of what USPS does including mail sorting.

The cost of shipping will rise.

Consider who will be screwed when this happens.

Some things will change for the worse, some things will change for the better. On the whole they are unlikely to remain as bad as they are today.

The outgoing president has set a new record for low approval as he leaves office. Lower than when his predecessor left office, which was pretty bad.

If you mean from Vance, I missed it. I did grin when Elon gave a 'thumbs up' to the Stars & Stripes being planted on Mars. 👍
