I could've sworn I saw something on eBay stating that as long as we ship within the handling time, any delays or problems with the shipping company does not get counted against us. Is this still the case? I can't seem to find that anywhere now.
I had around 15 orders that I shipped on time, but the local USPS office somehow "misplaced" our container with our packages and they sent them off 4 days later. They initially scanned them in at the front desk so there is a first scan but the delivery will definitely be late.
Will the late delivery hit my late shipment rate even though there is that first scan?

As DH said there SHOULD be no dings, but track it closely and if you see them show as late shipments before July 20th you should call and get them corrected.
