This was new to me and so wanted to share: ebay promoting multiple seller's items in a box of "frequently bought together" right under the listing header. I think it is confusung. See photos.
Now I see there was an active discussion thread on the topic last December: https://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/FREQUENTLY-BOUGHT-ITEMS-Really-Get-out-of-here/m-p/27840802#M1....
Still new to me...

I've been seeing that for a while, it's another idea lifted from Walmart and Amazon. Yes, they are often quite hilarious, the last one I saw (involving some General Lee toy cars from Dukes of Hazzard... and totalling some $700 in combined cost), I am quite sure has NEVER been bought together, let alone "frequently".
I think they're just tacking on two somewhat similar items that have really high Promoted Listing fees, in an effort to ring the register for them. It won't work, they're just insulting buyers' intelligence... and we all know, that's our job!

Hey, Ted. No, this is not Home Depot or Lowes either lol. HOWEVER, in the clothing area? They are getting a little smarter by offering Accessories rather than a knock off of the original item. As of last week, If I buy a jacket, I don't need ANOTHER jacket, but maybe a shirt, or shoes, or whatever to compliment my purchase. So somehow the Bots are trying to get smarter lololol.

I don't usually buy, but I wanted Ed Sheeran's DIVIDE CD, so I did a search and picked one with the best price. ebay showed me Ed Sheeran's PLUS and MULTIPLY CDs as well. I thought they were all from the same seller, so I thought, why not, save on shipping. Come to find out, each was from a different seller. Oh well, I don't know if I would have found those CDs less expensive from other sellers, but what is done is done.
