I have problems with shipping policies. At the time of publishing the ad it asks me to enter the dimensions of the package and weight. I can't put them in, neither the application nor the eBay website allow me to do so.

Try unclicking the free shipping box. Sounds like it is defaulting to how you normally sell, using Free shipping.
