Hi,
A buyer purchased an air filter which went out this morning. Now, he wants to cancel because he didn't read the details and he doesn't think it will fit. So I'll tell him to just refuse the package and I'll cancel for him. Since the reason will be buyer wanted to cancel and when the package gets back to me, will the postage be reimbursed? Thanks!

Reimbursed by whom?

The postage has been used, so you will not be reimbursed. In fact, if it was sent via Parcel Select Ground, you will have to pay for the return postage as well.

Bummer. It was sent via select ground so he might as well keep it. Thanks for your info.

USPS does not refund postage that was used (customer should pay for cost of postage because they cancelled order AFTER it was shipped).
Customer should only get "partial refund" (minus postage costs).

Just had that happen to me, watch out, they wrote return to sender, I got it back and refund the item, not the postage. He open a case and got the postage refunded, since he, not sure how since he bought it the day before open a return case, was denied for remorse buy then open another case. One of the times ebay backed me up, refunded me the shipping and my fee's.
