I had the same issue--in Safari I was adding photos to a listing, and all of a sudden eBay started giving "photo corrupted" messages. I tried old photos it had accepted before, etc. and it was always "photo corrupted."
I switched over to Chrome, and no problem. The same photos I had problems with loaded with no issues.
I assume it's an eBay problem with Safari. Somebody needs to explain to me why eBay keeps taking features that work just fine and changing them to less useful features or buggy features. And people get paid to do that!
