I wonder how long Walgreens will hold a package? A trip to town to pick up this package would be 12 miles round trip for me plus I don't run to town every day ... I go maybe once a week to pick up my mail out of my PO Box.
It would be inconvenient to me if this were something I really needed.
But then I guess it would be better since every FedEx package I've ever received has been delivered to the wrong house! LOL

I forget who I purchased from (maybe Amazon) and it gave me a choice for delivery. Package went to Stein Mart, who had a bank of locked boxes in the back. You put your code in and the box opened. Worked great for me.
Wal-mart allowed me to have store delivery. I got to go the the Tower and retrieve my package.
I would prefer this to delivery here for small items.

hmm i know kohls takes returns for amazon maybe they should take deliveries as well. porch pirates have become so bad i have all the really expensive items delivered to a ups store but thats all the way across the city so the smaller items come to my residence. all the carriers are across town as well so having them keep for pickup becomes a hasel. i do like this though and the coded boxes make a ton of sense

Generation "now".

They generally don't do that unless you specifically sign up for that service.
Gosh, I hope they don't do that here when I'm not home. Having to go 20 miles one way to Walgreens to pickup the dog food I ordered online so I wouldn't have to drive 20 miles one way to go buy it at the store would kinda defeat the entire purpose of ordering online.
