just want some feedback

sold a baseball card (not much) item shows delivered jul 10th, buyer didnt reach out and went straight to opening a ticket. On july 18th they opened a ticket saying item was never received and they would like a replacement or a refund.

i didnt look too much into the buyers history but he does have over 500 reputable feedback stating good purchases, just wondering what others would recommend in this situation?

thanks for your help!

If there is tracking, just add that number to the case. If not, refund. All buyers have perfect feedback, thats all they can receive.

If the buyer opens a INR (item not received) case with ebay, just respond to the case and add the tracking number.  If the tracking number shows it was delivered, you will win the case.  It usually takes a few days.

Good luck!

What was the value of the card and shipping service used?

ALL buyers including the scammers have perfect feedback.   Do what the others stated.  DO NOT refund if tracking shows delivered.

After doing the things others have suggested you should send a nice message to the buyer letting them know that USPS tracking shows delivery on x date/time, that they should check with any other residents at the address. If  that doesn't help them locate it they should contact their local post office or speak to their carrier as it's possible it was delivered by mistake to a nearby address.
