"was not out of the 24 hour time period"

Is there some significance to the 24 hour mark?

Re: payment reminders

If you are seeing these payment reminders and are posting about them here why have you NOT paid yet?

Re: payment reminders

A; The seller can accept anytime during that 24 hours - they don't have to wait it out.

B; eBay does send the reminder as soon as the seller accepts. (it's called an invoice)

C; Why? You offered, the seller accepted and eBay has reminded you to do so. Where is the threat?

Re: payment reminders

The seller accepted your offer.  They want to get paid so you can receive your item.

You have 3 days to pay, on the 4th day, you get a strike.

You know how this works, why is it a big deal to get a reminder?

Re: payment reminders

You buy something then you should pay for it immediately.  There is no other platform or company that does this! Typical ebay stupidity

Re: payment reminders

I've always thought the same thing.

Like how hard is it for ebay to require immediate payment on accepted BIN?

Ok.  I just thought about that.  Not everyone is on their computer 24-7, you know sleep, work, etc.

I answered my own this time, pats self on back and moves on to the next post.

The notification that the seller has accepted the offer wouldn’t be a “reminder”. The OP needs to clarify what they’re calling a “reminder”.

Re: payment reminders

There are  other things that get in the way of immediate payments on auction and best offers - like time zone difference and date differences (i.e. International Date Line)

"I have the right to remain silent but I didn't have the ability." Ron White, Fritch, Texas
"Stay away from negative people, they have a problem for every solution." A. Einstein

@justafemster

That is incorrect information. Perhaps you could look up the correct time frame and repost a retraction and correction.

Re: payment reminders

UGG! I had a long (idiotic) response, then realized I was completely wrong in my terminology!

I meant immediate payment for an accepted best offer.
