So I'm a new seller and I recently sold 2 things. I sold something for $120 and another for $40. I checked my balance and I only received $40 while my $120 is pending. Is that because it's a lot of money?

Probably.

You are a new seller so you have payment holds.
Were these to two different sellers?
Were they at the same time?
Curious why one would be held and not the other?
Did you get the OK to ship both items out?

'Were these to two different sellers?"
Huh?

Were these two different buyers?
OOPS.
I am wondering if the $120 buyer actually paid him. Or if that payment was an echeck and is being held.
But seller sent it out anyway.
Just curious because if you have holds all payments are held. Unless the $40 was way before the other one and paypal finally released it,
OP come back. Need more info to help you.

Yes, I already corrected myself.
Just waiting for OP to come back and explain further.

OP had another thread back a couple of days.
@OP will probably notfind way back without @ to prompt them.

Yes, they're different sellers.
No, they weren't at the same time.
Yes, I was told to ship.
Yes, I'm curious why one is held and the other isn't.

Were you told to ship by an email, or did you go to your Selling page to check for the ok to ship?

I was told to ship on the ebay site.

Ok that is very good. I think you may have to call PayPal to inquire about the pending funds. I’d guess they are new-seller holds but all fees would be held if that were the case. PayPal should be able to explain. Good luck and let us know what happens.

The thing is, there's no reason why that should be the case these days. If you click on your Community profile, you get a scroll with links to every recent post you've made. Unless you post obssessively (and I'm not saying that posting obssessively is a bad thing), you shouldn't have trouble finding your way back.

No, it's not very good. It's not any kind of good.
OP - were you told OK to ship by logging in to paypal and viewing the transaction? THAT is what you go by.

Problem is posters that don't use these boards often more then likely have no idea about clicking on their profile.
I see many dupe posts that say they can't find their other post.
