new listing format

Does anyone else absolutely hate the new listing format? All it does is ADD to the time it takes me to list an item!

new listing format

When I was switched over a few months ago, there was a lot a grumbling.  But I've gotten used to it.  Yes, at first it took me much longer to list (PC....I only use the app for research and messages).  It's getting better, maybe because I'm used to it, maybe because of my mindset.

I have a sign in my office that says "Change begins at the end of your comfort zone".
I realized all of my grumblings was not going to get listings done.  Not saying the complaints are not valid.  Just that adaptation is the name of the game here....after all it's eBay, the kingdom of unnecessary change.

The new listing format has many flaws.

I suggest you to using the old listing tool till ebay fix the new listing format.

if you want to get back the old listing page, go to the following link:

https://bulksell.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?SingleList&forcetool=CUB

You are a goddamned saint!!!!!!!

I listed 5 items today, was forced to use the new tool, and it took me 3x longer and I had constant issues.

The link works, as they disabled the options to return to the classic listing tool for my account.

Question is, how long will that link still work before it's disabled?

aqeeqsouq, you are a saint for now.

@critical_hit_gaming

Actually some sellers still using the old listing tool (including me), ebay didn't change our listing tool yet to the new one.

I think the link will be disabled after ebay delete the old tool and forcing all seller to the new tool.
So you need to start listing via the old tool before it's gone forever...

Good Luck...

Rami.

Thank you for the link to the old listing format. Very helpful. We contacted eBay and they told us there was no way to return to the old listing tool. I presume that eBay as usual doesn't know what it is doing. Without your link we could not list anything. Have a great day!

Yes, I hate the extra time it takes to list vs the old way.  NOT AT ALL AN IMPROVEMENT FOR ME.  i have found that I can cut some of that time off by not using the "continue as a match".  That way you can be the first to add specifics you want - not have to go thru the whole list and amend incorrect things which takes a lot of time.  And what about the "who pays"  for returns part, why not as it was before just clicking buyer or seller.  Now a person has to click "edit"  rather than just clicking a choice.  Another waste of time.  The many extra things they have added means a person can not get as many listings in as before in the same amount of time therefore less business for them.
