new items not showing

I have just put up 8 new items for sale. My dashboard says they are all active and I can see the final dates ticking away, but when I try to find them on Ebay, none of them are there. Any ideas?

They say  it can take "up to 24 hours" but in my experience, within the hour.

@pjcdn2005  How do we find out if we signed up for managed payments?

I didn't sign up for International Shipping or Business Policies either, but that didn't matter - I had to opt out of them after nightmarish insanity ensued. Luckily I'm a very small seller.

Does Managed Payments prevent listings from showing up in searches?

There's another post in the Technical Issues forum where they normally have $1000/day in sales & today it's $44 (or yesterday not positive). Only 2 of their items showed up in their initial search. Customer Service was able to replicate it.

Does having Managed Payments cause them to not actually be listed on the site?

You would know if you had signed up as you would have had to give your checking account info to ebay and confirm your ID.  That is the only way that you can get paid for a sale.

As far as I know not being registered does not prevent listings from being seen but it is possible that it takes longer for them be seen.

My listings show up in minutes, but it often seems that "new seller" listings take longer to clear through the system to be searched.

Still no sign of my listings on general Ebay. My dashboard says they are all active and if I click on one item it will go to the item selling page and at the top it says that this listing is active, so where is it!? Is there an email I can put my query to?

I have complied with all the security and bank checks and the last email from Ebay says 'all set' to go, so I did...

     You are located in Spain and depending on how your listings are setup and where the items are actually located it may be difficult for many of the sellers on this forum to see your listings since most are US based. I tried to look at your listings both from a US seller perspective as well as, with a little finagling, a Spain perspective but I could not see any listings. Can you post a screenshot of one of the items you say you have listed?

Thanks for your interest. As an example: N.º de artículo de eBay:304963969897  First is original, and I translated the second one. All my listings show the same that they are active. Even the countdown shows that it is active. We live in Spain and put everything on Ebay.es . All items are located here in our house. If you go to my profile (piffle999) it says there are no listings. Any thoughts?

As I am English I automatically put the listings in English on Spanish Ebay. I have now changed all my listings into Spanish, let's see if that helps!

can take 24HRS for new listings to show due to indexing, most common for new sellers, but, several people have posted lately that their items never showed after 2-3 days...if that is fact idk, but the site seems to so messed up with issues and glitches lately wouldn't say no.

We might be able to time out the onset of the great reset by figuring out how much time they have left as a viable corporation.
