new eBay return policy - Tailored to attract Scammers

just order something, claimed item is not as described, got free return label, returned the item for a full refund.

Who got the benefits?

(1) the scammers - free stuff

(2) eBay - overcharged the seller for return shipping label, last one billed me for $60 and only should costing us about $20 - eBay now do not allow you to provide your own return label so eBay can gorged you for a over-priced return shipping label.

I am ready to cancel most of the listing which is potentially a scammer's choice, and ready to cancel any new buyer's order.

My products is unique, they can't buy it here on eBay, they can buy from me on Amazon.

This policy has existed since 2008. There is nothing "new" about it.

1) The scammers returned your item (as you stated in the first line), so they didn't get free items.

2) eBay would have let you provide your own label, too, when the Return was approved.

Before you cancel your listings, read up on reacting to a Money Back Guarantee claim. Good luck.

You don't seem to be shy about sending them to Amazon

Please check our other Bounce House Models available through separate Amazon listings. Please search on Amazon website using following keywords '' My Bouncer Castle Popper " for the other available models & sizes.

If  you are allowing people to get free stuff then you should change the way you are accepting returns.

You use ebay to send people to your Amazon listings and expect them to bend over for you?

You're lucky you haven't been banished yet

It still amazes me how far out of touch some sellers are here, almost like they're living in the stone ages. 😮

I seriously doubt that selling the item on Amazon is going to quarentee you problem free sales. On Amazon they are the strictest platform for SUPERIOR SERVICE AND PRODUCTS. IF YOUR BUYER THERE SAYS YOU BOUNCY HOUYSE SMELLS LIKE SMOKE they will return it and any scammer can have their way 16 x more on that website.

Also Amazon was the platform that allowed the famous couple scammers to steal close to 100 grand in merchandise and all they had to do was cry defective and they sent them replacements—They caught them EVENTUALLY, but geez, 100 grand worth of merch and then they caught them. LOL!

Can confirm: amazon seems like HELL for a seller. Just recently I ordered a 30$ set of 3 items on there, received 2 as described and one in the wrong color. What I thought was an automated form to file for  a return and partial refund was instead a bot that IMMEDIATELY issued a full refund then told me to keep the items as well.

I'm sure that's not always the case, but wow did it surprise me that they have a bot just throwing "lol here's a refund and de facto free items for you" around, even at a relatively low price point like 30$. Seems like something that adds up big time and would definitely be exploited.
