my eBay sale dropped dramatically since Aug 2017 (over 50%)

I've been selling on ebay for over 10 years, during the past 5 years, my sale would go up front Aug to Dec. But this year, my sale dropped dramatically since Aug (over 50%)! I used to have $12k to $20k sale each month from Aug to Dec, now I can barely make $6k... And it's still dropping day by day... I can't figure out what is going on....

I also sell clothing. I have built my store up to be 10 times the size it was one year ago (from 600, to 7000 items) my sales drop by 10% every month, no matter what. I can add 1000 items, change prices, auctions, it doesn't matter. Nothing helps. This conversation comes up a lot these days on the boards, no one has an answer. ebay made some changes, and it has affected all of us. Best of luck to you in the 4th quarter.

Ebay shut our store down between October and the end of January in 2012-2013.  Page views went from 200-300 per day to 1-2 per day overnight, and then at the end of January they went back up.  Sales were predictably non existent.  I have proof of this via screenshots of the page view data.

Amazon does the same thing to certain sellers over the Christmas season, but at least they are honest and up front about it.

With all sellers having a problem , why doesn't ebay fix this

It's been suggested that ebay doesn't have the bandwidth to show everything.
Hence, the mystery rotation of seller visibility.

I am in the same boat sales down 35-40%. Been on here a long time, it is not what you are selling issue it is an ebay issue. Perhaps your item s have been hidden like mine
