is it just me ( I don't sell in large amounts) but it appears that ebay is taking more monies out and I am making less....secondly, I must of missed the changing of this postage stuff but there isn't any more first class?  I have been a member for so long.....just a few items here and there.....it was more of a passion than anything, but now it doesn't seem as fun....what happen ebay

Yep, things change. I don't know how long it's been since you sold, but the fees really haven't changed much. Plus, increases in postal costs and changes in USPS services (First Class went away in July) can't be attributed to eBay.

But I agree that what used to be more of a passion is less fun than it once was. Hang in there...

First class is now letters and large envelopes since ???  months ago 😁

Now packages that were 1st Class, Parcel Select, or Retail Ground are called Ground Advantage.

I don't really see any great changes in how much eBay takes out, but then I sell regularly, so not a shocker for me with the gradual increases.

If you happen to be dabbling in Promoted Listings, your fees are increasing. If no promoted listings, then eBay fees are about the same.

Shipping is up across the board with all carriers. Packing materials are significantly more expensive from 2 years ago.

Best of luck.

Ebay's fees are published for all to see.  No secret there.

First Class Mail has recently been replaced by Ground Advantage.

I still find ebay fun.  Making money is fun!  -)

IDK how long it has been since you sold on Ebay, but it has been a bit since they raised fees.  A while back they did raise clothing to 15% but I'm not sure when that was.  Someone else may know.  It was however at least over a year ago.

Here is a link to the list of fees by category.
