I don't believe there is a way to only increase the font size of your listing on the mobile app only.  What is displayed in the app comes from your item's description which displays on both PCs and mobile devices.

To change the font size used in your item's description, you don't need to change the HTML. You can do so in plain/standard text.

To make edits to your item's description:

  1. Go to your item and click on "Revise your item"
  2. Scroll down to the Item Description portion of your screen.

This is what you'll see:Font1.jpg

      3. Click on the "Standard" tab, then click on "Advanced Editing" which will expand the editing options available.  The screen should look like this:

Font2.jpg

     4.  Change the font size to whatever you like.

     5. When you've finished editing, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Update Listing"

That's it.

ok, thanks, I thought it was possible because the mobile checker tool seems to make some font changes and leave the pc one the same, I'll play around with the item description, a little bigger for pc text is ok too.

For what it's worth, somewhere along the line about the time they debuted the mobile app, I believe eBay was recommending people use no less than 14pt in their item descriptions so that the text would be more readable on mobile devices.

@peter32123,

If you are going to sell regularly on this site, I strongly suggest using a PC and the classic site, instead of a portable device and the App.  The app has too many glitches to be reliable and it is too easy to click the wrong button on a small screen.

making mobile listing text larger

I do create my listings on pc with classic, but I wanted to make the item description text larger for people viewing my listings on their mobile devices, creating all my listings on mobile that wouldn't be fun.
