I just started a new selling account. I also have an existing, active selling account with 100% feedback, more than 20 years old, above standard rating. Reason for new account is to feature a completely different product line. Would like to link the 2 accounts so that the weight of my established account might be considered in establishing better limits on the new one. I know this used to be done years ago. Is it still an available practice, and if so, how can I go about it? (step by step please, I'm NOT a techie)
Thanks

eBay has never allowed you to make two accounts into one account.

No, you can't "link" them together.
You decided to make a separate account for selling different items.
I've never understood that.
I don't care if the seller i'm buying a carburetor from also sells women's underwear.

I just started another account last week and it has limits. They are holding the money until delivery just like any other new account and I'm allowed 250 items and whatever cash total they gave me.

What if the guy that sells you that carburetor is wearing women's underwear? Does that affect your decision?

You are referring to the past not uncommon practice of opening a new account and then contacting customer service to have the seller limits waived. This is no longer an option and CS will not do this anymore.
It certainly wasn't "linking" nor "merging" of two accounts.

I've been selling on eBay for the company I work for since early 2008 and have been a TRS+ for most of it.
In 2018, we decided to start another selling account for used/returned items as the account I handle is all new products. We wanted to track and it was easier to do separate accounts.
Another employee was going to handle the new account (now I do both accounts as the other employee went on to greener pastures).
When I started it, I contacted eBay to "link" the two accounts, but was told that eBay doesn't link accounts.
They looked at the older account and let me start out my new account based on the old accounts history.
I never had holds put on funds or a low selling limit.
Both accounts are set up as a business account using our company info and bank account.
I don't know if eBay still does this, but it's worth contacting eBay via eBays Facebook for business to see.
Good luck to you

They don't. Ask me how I know...
