I have noticed that most post on e-bay are negative and usually express that sellers don't have enough protection from buyers.
I am curious if buyer problems are more frequent in certain categories.
I sell mostly text books, used stuff and spare parts and although I am a low volume seller buyers have been lenient even when I done some bad stuff like shipping late.
So what categories have the most problems, or is the not the main factor to having problems with buyers?

Last night I pulled my "Robert Bentley" The complete Triumph GT-6 service manual.
The wife said you have not had that car for 35 years... why do you keep the book...
Well, do you remember the first time you kissed me ?
Yes, she said, it was in the Spitfire....NO
You first kissed me in the GT-6...
The Spitfire was where you got preggers.
Well, she said, not techniclay IN the Spitfire,
I think it was on the car hood.
I digress...
Books are a slim margin, with shipping and fees, and postage... not much profit.
But some books you never part with.

Dang, those cans of beans must hurt! LOL
Yes, I know! You don't pull your punches.
Got a giggle out of this, too:
Your pictures look like there were done with a Barbie cam.
Your title is only found by a search engine with dexlexia..
If you must put body parts in a picture... make sure it is clean, dang,
Never tell your wife you are selling her skinny pants on ebay, dang that was my head.
Search engine with dyslexia...LOL! Watch out, Cassini might take offense...
Carry on!

Why would Cassini take offense? It's the search engine with dyslexia and ADD!

Althought tbh that would NOT be a "normal" day on eBay.......it would be akin to a miracle.
There are millions of transactions every day on Ebay, and there are two or three complaints that are real on the forums each day. Therefore 99.9% of Ebay transactions are troublefree. So, Penguins is right, the vast majority of tranactions are smooth sailing.
Perhaps "trouble free" as in no issues between seller & buyer, but that doesn't take into account the daily glitchfest we all have to deal with here.

<<Why would Cassini take offense? It's the search engine with dyslexia and ADD!>>
Me typing: RCA Audio Jacks
**search**
Cassini: Did you mean RCA Radio?
**200 listings for RCA Radio parts**
Me: "RCA Audio cables"
**mutter, search**
Cassini: 300 Listings match your search term
**1 listing for RCA Radio power cables and 299 Listings for Audi Brake Cables (matching fewer words) **
Me: +RCA +Audio +Cable +Male -Audi -Radio -Vintage
**curse, cross fingers, search**
LOL ... an exaggeration, but ... I've had some doozies when searching 🙂

I don't have "Daily" glitches. Occasionally something glitches, but by no means is it daily or constant.

It is for me. Bad transactions/buyers are the rare exception, not the rule.
Just because a small amount of sellers post their issues about having a bad transaction/buyer does not mean that ALL transactions/buyers are bad EVERY day.
And ... so many Seller wounds are self-inflicted 😞
Are there issues with the platform? Yes. Are there scams and bad buyers? Yes. But if those things were happening on EVERY transaction, EVERY day ... this whole platform would collapse ... but it doesn't. Millions of transactions go off without a hitch.
Problem was that The old Ceo was buyer first Butt kisser ,A long with folks he brought in . Which opened this platform to jump in buyer fraud issues which is still a on going issue Sorry to say . The New ceo has been working to fix the damge done by JD. Sad thing is currently for some unkown reason The Old IPR Beta test from 3 years ago that was junked! Is now currently being tested on 50% of members again.

Not really an exaggeration - I was trying to find a Wagner number 2 skillet with a heat ring(pre-1900, Wagner only on the bottom). I gave up.
Google pulled up a few from 2014-2017, and the listings were on ebay - not a cached version. And also a few live ones. Unfortunately, none with a heat ring though.
