items moved into wrong categories--do we just have to fix them all?

I mean vastly wrong, like plates in "cups", vases in "plates", rings in "necklaces" etc. Things that even just assigning categories based on the title keywords should have worked for. between several stores this is hundreds if not thousands of items, do we just have to fix this manually? wiping the 'item specifics' when we do, too, I bet. this is going to be an expensive fix, seller side. is eBay just done with their side of it? for awhile it seemed like some items were getting sorted back to their right categories, but i haven't seen any info on this since around the 19th.

Soooo....   It looks as if the dust has settled!

I mean, the system is no longer incorrectly re-categorizing listings.

So, that's good.

But still views / sales are extremely low.

Wondering how others are doing

It had picked up - derailed again by the site technical chaos that occured this week.....some of which appears still unresolved.

Yes, it's bad enough with all the time wasted putting things back in the correct categories and adding the item specifics again, but what is most discouraging is to have them back in the wrong category or missing the item specifics a week or so later.

To make matters worse - views are down by over 50%,  and I have yet to sell a single item where I had to correct the category or item specifics in the past month.  These changes have only affected this account where I list pottery, glass, dolls, and bears  - my other three accounts thankfully are operating normally as I list in categories that have not been affected.

It is beyond ridiculous to make these changes in the fourth quarter.
