item removed

Hi I recently  listed a Butchers axe on ebay uk and had it removed, there are many more sellers listing similar items from the uk every day, how does that work?

It's like shooting fish in a barrel... you don't catch them all at once.

Re: item removed

Hi @horllicks

While I don’t know whether a Butchers axe is banned on the eBay UK site … I can assure you that banned items can always be found on eBay.  ‘Bots’ simply aren’t able to catch all banned listings before they become active … and eBay relies on reports from members to locate more of them.

NEVER relist an item that’s been pulled … as bots will catch relistings quickly and restrictions will begin.

You might want to ask this question on the eBay UK site ( www.eBay.co.uk ) just in case there’s a difference in policy from the US site.

Re: item removed

Because someone else does it doesn't make it right or within policy.  So don't depend on that to protect you as it won't.  If you try to list it again, Ebay will just close it.  Try it too many times and Ebay will sanction you.

Re: item removed

Do not relist it.

You got caught, others have not;  Thats how it works

Never assume because other sell an item that it is not against policy.

Find the policy and learn them.
