inventory management program

Does Ebay offer any kind of inventory management program? Some of my items quanities run out and I don't know about it right away unless a customer asks about it.

Any help is appreciated.

Re: inventory management program

In each listing, you are to put the quantity available.  That is your inventory management.

Re: inventory management program

You can also use the Out of Stock option.

@decalsdirect2u

1) Know how many of each item you actually have (count them ... yes, seriously)

2) List only the quantity that you have on hand (not how many you THINK you might have next week)

3) Use the Out of Stock option when you list (this will keep the listing alive until you restock)

4) Keep good records ... even a simple spreadsheet will do.

There are a bunch of third-part eBay management tools that will track your inventory, provide alerts when stock in a listing is running low (and of course dozens of other functions).

Not free of course!

I use SixBit, there is also WonderLister which is similar and has some lower cost options.

As other mentioned if you use eBay Out Of Stock option, your listings will continue (but hidden) when you run out of stock. You can easily check the OOS listings in the Seller Hub and add more inventory if you have it. While it won't track your inventory it will allow you to see which listings need more stock added.
