Not that you're not welcome here, because you certainly are, but this is the discussion-board community for ebay.com--in the U.S. While the policies and procedures are quite similar, it's really best to post questions or comments on your "home" board in order to get responses and advice from your fellow UK sellers.

Nobody here to speak to... but plenty to type to. What is the issue at hand?

You may find better information on the eBay.co.uk site. Particularly about taxes, shipping, and VAT.

This is the original US site. You can list here, I do and I am in Canada, but there are quirks.

You have to list in US dollars.

You have to use Flat Rate Shipping from an International Location.

You have to understand that you will be paying higher fees for currency exchange and for receiving payments that are not in sterling.

Since you are a newbie, I would strongly encourage you to start on the UK site and to do some buying to learn the real eBay experience and to build a little feedback/reputation before selling.

Hello and welcome!

See you are in the UK. So you want to sell to the US market?

Hi lamber9347, I have a problem in that I liked a product for the very first time on EBAY. I came to the conclusion that the listing was not successful. because each time I press the Listings button it seems to bounce back and never once told me that my listings was successful. I figured out that I may have also attempted to post on the US site as opposed to the UK site. I am an absolute beginner and still learning. I wonder if you can help. I bought five earphones from Alibaba that I would like to sell by living them on EBAY.  Please help. many thanks.

@kunle171mama  No worries!  That seems to happen a lot.  Hope you find the information you need.
