insertion fees

Hello

Hello

Please can someone help me to understand the following

I’m using Premium $59.95 /mo with 1-yr plan*

This is for 10,000 /mo

But today I discover, that I always paid insertion fees for around listed 950 items

Why I paid insertion fees? When I see that I can insert 10,000 /mo, but I listed 950 items and always paid insertion fees

How many items I must sell in my store, that I do not pay insertion fees?

All the best

Ashot

Re: insertion fees

The 10,000 free insertions can only be used in "Select categories."

Be more specific.  What categories?  What type of Insertion Fee (auction vs. BIN)?   See: https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/selling-fees?id=4822#m17-1-tb2

The "free" listings are only for certain categories.  It is pretty narrow how they apply.

We downgraded from Premium to basic at no charge/penalty back in April as it made little sense to stay Premium with all the changes in the Spring.

Re: insertion fees

Did you read the parameters and limits to what is included with the Premium store?  I had a Premium store for two years and downsized it back to a Basic store.  Best thing I ever did on epay.

The other comments regarding specific categories is true.  With managed payments I list almost exclusively in collectables so I get 10,000 extra FREE listings in the collectables category with my Basic store subscription.

Re: insertion fees

Because you enrolled in Managed Payments and have Premium Store $59.95/mo.  you get no cost 10,000 fixed price and 500 auction.    You also get 50,000 fixed price in select categories (shown below).

  • Premium Store, you can only use your zero insertion fee AUCTION-style listings allocation in the following categories:
    • Antiques
    • Art
    • Clothing, Shoes & Accessories
    • Coins & Paper Money
    • Collectibles
    • Dolls & Bears
    • Entertainment Memorabilia
    • Health & Beauty
    • Jewelry & Watches
    • Pottery & Glass
    • Sports Mem, Cards & Fan Shop
    • Stamps
    • Toys & Hobbies

You also get ADDITIONAL 50,000 fixed price in following categories only:

  • Sports Mem, Cards & Fan Shop > Sports Trading Cards
  • Toys & Hobbies > Collectible Card Games
  • Collectibles
  • Music
  • Books
  • Movies & TV
  • Video Games & Consoles > Video Games
  • Stamps
  • Crafts
  • Home & Garden > Greeting Cards & Party Supply > Party Supplies

Something is wrong you should not be charged insertion fee until you go over 10,000 limit.   Contact CUSTOMER SERVICE, go to HELP, MANAGED PAYMENTS (select problem) go to bottom of page and click REQUEST CALLBACK (enter your phone number).

Re: insertion fees

@forgottenoperasingers-3

According to the chart below you can post up to 10,000 fixed price listings in any category with a premium store.  If you look at the payout amounts in sellers hub, does it specify what the fees are for?  It looks like you may have gallery plus checked off on at least some of your listings. That is a listing upgrade and is free in just a few categories so in the music category the charge would be .35/listing per month.
