insertion fees at the end of month

At the last few days of month I have used 250 listing and have 0 left. I have 241  active listing. Please expain to me how this works. I get charged insertion fees -$.30 in my payment summary account. Is this been taking out and if it renews automatically do they charge for it? So confusing every month I deal with this for several dollars.

The listing renews every thirty days.  If you have no insertion fees then  it will bill you the thirty cents.   If you have unused insertions available-it will take from that.

So it all comes down to what you have left when it relists.

You might see if a cheap store will be of any help to you.  I'm not sure it will, but for $ 8 a month (or less) it's worth looking into it.

You get 250 free basic insertions per month. Not 250 active listings at any point in time.

Every  fixed price listing rolls over each month on the same date that it started, and when it rolls over it will use up one of your free insertions, if available. If you have used up your 250 free insertions then you will be charged the insertion fee; this is not related to how many active listing you have.

You get 250 total free insertions each month.

If you used all 250 for May, then you would have been charged for every new listing you created and every listing that renewed before June 1.

On June 1, you got 250 more free insertions. And every listing you create and every listing that renews in June will use one of them up until you have used all 250.

When you have used all 250 for June, then you will be charged for every new listing you create and every listing that renews before July 1.

When a listing sells, you do "get it back". Once you use a free insertion, it is gone forever. Think of it like a parking meter: once you put a quarter in, that money is gone forever. You do not get it back if you decide to move your car.

I presume you mean that as a question..........  First, you have to register as a seller and they will give you a limited amount of listings until you have proven that you can and will deliver the items to the satisfaction of the buyer.  The # of free listings will be increased, as your sales increase......until you have 250 free listings.

You should probably get the basic store.  If you have more than 200 items listed this will continue to be an issue for you with the 30 day renews

Feel like I am getting totally hosed.  Make almost no profit anymore on ebay.   If a book won't sell for $10, I just give to thrift store or chuck.  I just dumped 300 books.  I use to sell books for $1-3.
