insertion fee question

i currently have the basic ebay store subscription and it allows 250 insertion free listings per month . i uploaded more than that this month (+300). my question is if i upgrade to a higher store subscription (premium) will they re-adjust the fees and remove the fees for the extra 300  that i just listed ? because the insertion fees that accumulated are enormous ($550!!!)

Alas, no, an upgrade to your Store subscription is not applied retroactively. You do get the full number of free insertions for the new Store level, even during that first partial month. In order to make use of those, you could end your current listings and relist them before that first batch of free upgrade listings expires December 1.

The insertion fee for Basic stores that have used up their free insertions is 25 cents, so an extra 300 listings should cost $75.  How did you manage to get charged $550?

No, it won't be retroactive........... but you only pay 25c for extra listings x 300=$75....

How did they come up with $550?

Won't hurt to call and ask..........I know I've seen them do some adjustments, but no guarantee .
