hello, I have been tempted to add a link in my item descriptions for buyers to check out reviews or prices from other retail sites, but have not because I wonder if this is allowed? I have researched it in eBay's library and haven't found anything about this.
Specifically, I would like to know whether there is an eBay policy against:
1) including in the description a url to another retail site with reviews (no prices)
AND/OR
2)including in the description a url to another retail site to demonstrate higher prices.
Thank you!

There is a policy against posting links in listings >>>Links policy | eBay

Absolutely NOT allowed!

The links to other sites with prices would violate ebay policy about off site sales, even if those prices are higher.
Also, as a consumer, I find that sort of thing to seem questionable, it is the sort of thing that could make me pass on an item altogether.

eBay does not allow links to other retail sites, for very obvious reasons.
