May I use a link from Photobucket to make a clickable link in my selling description?
If so, how do I do it?

This is the HTML code that you need to use at listing description:
<hr><a href="PUT YOUR LINK HERE FROM PHOTOBUCKET" target="_blank">TEXT TO DISPLAY </a>

Better check with photobucket if you are using photos in a listing.........If I remember correctly, they block "free photos" from being linked........you have to pay for the service if you want to link them.....

Additionally, if you use a third party image storage service like Photobucket, be sure that the link in between the quotes starts with https. eBay will not accept http without the "s" because the link is not secure without it.

As an aside, I'm surprised that Photobucket is still around. For a while I used them for adding photos to my descriptions until 3 or 4 years ago, when they threw all the users under the bus unless they purchased their service for hundreds of dollars a year, as I recall. There were a lot of ticked-off eBay users who saw their embedded images disappear from their descriptions almost overnight, and it still leaves a bad taste in some sellers' mouths.
So I went back to Imageshack.com for all my photos, and my subscription is under $40 a year. I have over 5,000 photos stored there in 103 albums so far. I haven't had any downtime recently at Imageshack, either. Headquatered in Los Gatos, CA, the only time they were down was during the Loma Prieta Earthquake about 30 years ago, only about 25 direct miles from the epicenter. If you have to pay an exorbitant fee for linkable photos at Photobucket, you may want to check out Imageshack.com.
Cheers, Duffy

Thanks for the info. I have looked at Imageshack.com, as you suggested, and believe it will be a better choice.
Thanks for the embedding clickable link detail!

I used to use Photobucket until Ebay started accepting photos for download. I use 2 ipads to take photos and I load the photos with the ipad. Much faster and easier to do it this way than with a camera and linking the camera to the computer and then looking into files for the photos. If you go out and buy IPADS or other tablets buy the one with the most storage capacity. This way, you can keep your photos there longer w/o running out of space.
Don't bother looking at my sales, I use 2 other IDS to sell. I will say that the quality of the photos on the newer IPADs is outstanding.
