Did you mean:

http:// to https:// Is that ll I need to do?

Just edit links to other items or my store in the description by adding the "s" to each link?  Is that it???

List more, sell more. Goodwill that other, uh, stuff.

Feeling sleepy? There's an app for that.

Links that leave the page are not required to be HTTPS. They can remain as HTTP.  However, to comply with eBay's new links policy, you'll need to make sure that all of your links point to eBay-approved pages. And if they all point to eBay (like store pages), it is ok, but not required, to change them to https.

What actually needs to be changed to HTTPS is any image, video, or stylesheet in your listing.  For example, this listing has a background image hosted on Photobucket, and that would need to be changed from HTTP to HTTPS.

Fortunately, photobucket now supports https, so you can make that change to any listing.  That listing also has a link to your store. It is not necessary to change the store link to HTTPS, but it is ok to do so.

So, if all of your listings are pretty simple and you don't link to any outside resources, it is probably safe to globally change all HTTP to HTTPS.

Making the assumption that Photobucket is the only image host included in your listings, I ran a bulk scan here and put photobucket in the custom capture field on the top right.

Out of 2520 listings, only 27 contained photobucket images, so my assumption is those may be the only listings you would need to fix for SSL security.

Thanks for the clarification.  I have been removing Photobucket images as I get to them as I have discontinued paying for their service.

I was just curious to know if you've changed all of your http to https by just adding the "s" in the html?   If so, did everything remain pretty much the same? Although most of my auctions only need the 12 eBay pictures I do have some items that require as many as 15-20 more pics in the description.  I use photobucket for these images and need to know what problems I'll be facing in October.  Also, if there is another image hosting service that you would recommend I would be all ears.  Thanks in advance...
