how to respond to an expired offer

Hi,

I had a pending offier which expired yesterday.  I didnt realise.   I would like to accept offer but now it seems I can't.  I can see who the buyer was but there seems to be no way of contacting him/her.   Can anything be done or is it gone for ever.

You can go to the bidder's feedback page and use the "Contact member" link to send her a message, asking her to resubmit the offer.

eBay has been experimenting with letting buyers choose a duration for their offers; for those in the test, the default duration is just 12 hours.

You can message the buyer and send them an offer

I sent the message and they agreed, but how do i stop the sale (it has bids-she bid higher) and accept her higher offer?
