how do i schedule an auction using template?

I have scheduling turned on in my templates but the form never remembers the time I set. I dont know what the problem is.   Have not sold on ebay in a while and everything is so different,

      I use scheduling a lot and I am not aware of a way the scheduling will hold in a form or template since it is a moving target and has to be set on an individual basis for each item.
