how do i get a private conversation with a mentor?

There are lots of mentors on here.

I have never heard of an email for one.

If you post on here maybe a mentor who has a lot of experience in the issue will message you.

You could always post on the 'Ask a mentor' board, but it doesn't get as many eyeballs. You will only get responses from Mentors, though, if that's what you're after. Good luck.

You can PM a mentor.  That way if you want to keep your conversation private, others won't see it.  Go to the top of the page where it reads community Info.  Click on it and you'll see ask a mentor.  Click on the mentors ID and you can send a private message.
