Everyone is being switched over to it.

You don't get out of it. You are just going to have to adjust to it. 

With me I adjusted to it pretty well over time. It is no longer changing my effective listing time for most items. But it did cause me to decide to completely drop my previously fairly large category of low dollar trading cards. I just can't list them fast enough with the new tool to make it worthwhile anymore, they were only marginally worth it before when I could list them 3-4 times as fast.

You don't.  Once eBay switches you over you are stuck with it.

After you use it for a while, it's not so bad. If you have similar items, use the list similar option. It saves a lot of time. 

And remember, you only have to include required item specifics. That will also save a lot of time.
