i thinking about and ebay store. if i proceed i will have several hundred items listed in the store. my question is will any of these items show up in a generic or regular search on ebay even if they are not an active listing or currently listed for auction or buy it now?

Not sure what you are asking.

If the listings aren't active, they won't show up anywhere.

If you have a store, all of your currently ACTIVE listings will show in the regular gallery searches (depending on the search words a buyer uses) AND all of your currently active listings will also show up in your store.

But when a listing has expired, it is ended. It isn't seen in your store anymore, nor in the gallery of current listings and will only be seen in the *Completed* section of the regular gallery, but can't be purchased from there.

An eBay "store" is not much more than a subscription that buys you a different insertion fee schedule and a different final value fee schedule, plus a few extra features.

Your store listings will appear in search just as non-store listings do. Your store listings are just as "current" and "active" as any other listings.

I'm closing my store when the subscription runs out. Sales are way down on ebay in my categories from last year. Its hardly worth while selling on here anymore. I'm making more sales elsewhere sad to say as I did enjoy the ebay platform.
