I sold an unopened authentic designer toys to a buyer. And now he opened it and said I sold a fake toys to him.
Ask for return and refund. eBay approve his request. And I got so mad. I think he was exchanged my authentic toys with his fake toys. Can you guys help me how to resolve this matter. eBays had already took $1000.00 from this sale. If I really need to refund him. I lost my toys, my money. really really sad.

I know nothing about this item, but for the price, I would have made the listing a pick-up only / pay then sale.

Boxes not opened...I have Star Trek Boxes unopened as a collection and my wife has unopened boxes of Barbie clothes...but...here's the but part...you can see through them and see what's in them unopened.
Tell me there's never been an error or mistake in an unopened box of anything made in the 🌎.
I had unopened boxes of trading cards....opened the packets and some cards were stuck together plus the gum inside old boxes didn't help as well.
It's like you never know what you get in a box of chocolates until you open it...

If you did not accept the request for return and eBay did, there is nothing to resolve.
The eBay MBG protects the buyer.
What the buyer says is 99% of the time true.
The buyer never has to prove what they say.
If you let eBay step in and they refunded the buyer- you lost your $, your item, you still pay the FVF and have a ding on your account for not taking care of it yourself.

I sold a Kaws 2010 Bearick Companion 400% figure and 100% figure. He lives in NY 12590(Apartment)
eBay charge me insertion fee & Promotion fee. Almost $1000.00
I sold my item $2200.00 + shipping. My order #14-12778-49490
My concern is for seller : no protection at all. we sold a right item but buyer switch the bad stuff and return to us. we lost out item and money. really nothing can help???

Accept the return, and do not agree to a refund until you get the item back. What is happening right now is that eBay has probably put a hold on your funds, they will be released either to the buyer (if you don't agree to the return) or to you if you can prove that the buyer has filed a false INAD and failed to return the item. You cannot refuse a return and keep the money with a case like this. You have a good track record for the category, so stand your ground but follow the rules.
Have you accepted the return yet?

Wait, did you already receive the wrong item back or you're just worried as your OP suggests?
Even more important is to make sure if/when the item is returned (whatever it may be) YOU NEED to respond to the case by issuing a refund. If eBay has to do it for you they will KEEP your fees.
You are correct, there are VERY FEW protections for sellers. But those that do exist hinge on the seller promptly and properly responding to buyer disputes.

Oh there are always risks with selling sealed, or unsealed, high end collectibles. It's something I've dealt with for at least 20 years. That said, the value diminishes greatly when you open certain sealed items. If you look at the OPs listing you'll see the smaller figure is in a box that's glued, and the figure itself is probably sealed in an opaque metallic baggy inside the glued box, so he has no way to show the item without mangling the packaging.
On the other hand, he does have a lot of excellent feedback for this category and the buyer is trying to claim the item is counterfeit. So what the buyer is doing is what we in the toy business call a load of hooey. 🙂 There is plenty of motivation for a buyer to try and screw a seller with an item like this, but very little for a seller with an established history to suddenly go off the rails and try the inverse.

'sealed'...it was a piece of tape...
Would not an item shown out of the box draw more buyers or potential buyers?...and especially in auctions?
It's like...oh, that is so cool looking as oppose to selling a box(where only a handful know what it is?).
Like, a lot of people here is like...what is it?
Might have got an honest buyer before this dishonest buyer...which are a 'dime a dozen'.
'no way to show the item without mangling the packaging'...you don't know my wife who can takes items out of 'Barbie' packages and put them in like before. Me, I tear all packaging and am not even allowed to open anything.

LOL no, there's no way into the smaller package without first ripping open the glued box and then tearing open the bag inside. They're like the little metallic bags that are heat sealed with snacks inside. They look like this...
The thing with that little bit of tape is that it's easy to tell if it's been opened and these items are a lot like vintage 'new' items insofar as the value is drastically reduced when there's evidence they've been opened. I've had to knock fifty bucks off of even a 200 dollar toy just because it had been opened by an authenticator (StockX). This is one of those situations where the seller might have benefitted from adding a stock pic for reference, but even that's debatable. When you get into this price range for designer toys, a sealed box should be left intact. Collectors know this.
ETA: The other thing to keep in mind is that this isn't the kind of item that a noob is just going to pop on and say "how fun! I want it". Art toys like this are the kind of things collectors hunt for, creating alerts in their myeBay for, and then waiting sometimes for months or years to see at a price they can stomach.

Thank you for your attention of my matter. The case was closed.
Buyer's message: Hello sorry for inconvenience talked to a professional it's not fake. I'll keep it. Sorry again
And a message from eBay saying the case is closed.
Thank you so much for your concern.
