ever since Ebay switched its' money system to Ayden in The Netherlands the credit card I use for Ebay has been subjected to illegal purchases 8 times. I have to get a new card every time. The credit card company agrees with me it is probably via Ebay as they have experienced this often . Wondered if other sellers have experienced such a problem.

Nope I have never. Are you sure the payments weren’t selling fees or shipping labels? I know when I don’t have enough funds available in my eBay. eBay will charge my payment method on file.

Name of the company is Adyen - not Ayden. They handle secure transactions for a large number of huge companies besides Ebay. It is HIGHLY unlikely that they have anything to do with your card number getting stolen no fewer than 8 times. You might want to check for a keylogger virus on your machine that could be revealing your new card number to hackers as soon as you type it in.

Might want to check your computer for a keystroke logger. Someone might be watching.

Really? What credit card company told you this?

Never had a problem and I've been signed up with Adyen for years on another platform before they took over payments on eBay. Not seen other posts from sellers with same issue on here. Sounds like this is a targeted threat to your own financials (8 times!!) and not something that affects others. It's to your benefit to find the solution rather than casting aspersions unnecessarily. Best of luck to you....

Stop believing your credit card company, and start checking ALL other possibilities.

Nope.......never had a problem......
If those 8 were "close" in time, I would guess a key logger.....for which you want to run a Malware scan.....

Probably one that was from overseas reading from a script. We know the drill here right? Sound familiar? 😉

This was going to be my suggestion. It's almost guaranteed OP has a keylogger or some sort of malware that's feeding everything they type to hackers.

I'd really question your card issuer on this as it makes no sense this is an issue.
FYI Adyen is a is a fully licensed BANK in the USA. Their headquarters is located in California.
This is a problem with your card issuer.

I agree. I've made literally thousands of transactions on three different credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX) over a period of 60+ years and in all that time I have had two -- count them, two -- unauthorized charges, the last one about ten years ago. So EIGHT in a short period? Something dirty on OP's device.

Exactly. I have two cards that I use to pay for everything and in 20+ years I think I've had three unauthorized charges ever, and I know exactly where and when one of them was compromised because the friends I went to that restaurant with also had their cards compromised as well.
OP needs to do some deep malware and virus scans on their computer and disconnect their internet connection until they figure out what's going on.
