first class postage taking forever

Was wondering if any other sellers are having this issue right now and how they are handling it. The last couple of weeks first class mail seems to be getting stuck in accepted for a long time and there seems to be delays also. I attached an image of an example. I shipped the item the 4th and it took 8 days to go 40 miles. Any advice would be welcome.

That appears to be a problem strictly with Wauconda or less likely Mundelein.

Something that sometimes helps is to sign up for tracking updates on the USPS.com site.

Use a different post office, don't deliver your shipments to that location anymore. There's 4 USPS locations within 4 square miles of my home, and I will only use one of them; its a distribution center, so processing of shipments is done very quickly, and they never lose my packages.
