Because it is optional.

Because they see no benefit in it.

Because they have no incentive to do it.

Because many buyers only want the item.

They don't want to give fb, and they don't care if they get any.

Same with sellers

they may give all their buyers fb as a courtesy ... but they mainly want the money.

As I seller I get fb for about 40% of my sales.

I leave it for 99% of the people I buy from.
