Hello all. Vinyl-1 here looking for info. I want to set up a ebay store and keep my existing site separate. What Plan do I need to be able to do my logo and have the Storefront? I have been reading just not understanding. Can this be done with the starter plan?
Thanks

You have an eBay account, with 508 feedback.
You want to have an eBay store.
We are allowed to have multiple accounts although each needs to have a separate email address.
You have two choices.
Open a new account, which will have 0 feedback, add a Store subcription.
Add a Store to your existing account and keep the 508 feedback.
Personally I would open a new account and use it for buying for a while to build FB, which is a method of measuring trust.
Add a Basic Store to your current account, reducing the cost of listing titles, since you only have 250 Free Listings without a Store.
Is there something about your current account that makes you not want to use it?

When you have a Store subscription (at any level, including Starter), all of your listings are automatically in the Store. Some sellers set up multiple selling accounts, so they can use different accounts for different types of merchandise.

If you open a new account.........I would not immediately open a store as you may be subject to limits on the new account......either of number of listings or $ amount. Also, you get 250 free listings without a store and it's a waste of money to open a store until the number of listings exceed that number. (note the starter store only has 250 free NOT 250 free plus 250 you get without a store)
Right now with over 400 listings and no store.......you must be paying insertion fees......which is a waste of money on that end......
here's a help page with a number of possibilities you can do with a store:
One caution...........you probably don't need anything beyond a basic store.....certainly at least at first......here is the fee schedule on the various store levels:

Hello I can do well over 250 listings that is why the store makes sense to me. I want to be able to use my own logo. This is the part that concerns me. What plan do I need to get this? Will I be able to do buy it now and auction also?

At every subscription level, a Store subscription has to have a name and home page, and can have its own logo.
FYI, sellers who do not have a Store subscription get 250 free insertions per month; if you sign up for a Store subscription you will no longer get those 250 free insertions. So a Starter store has the same number of free insertions (250) as a seller who has no Store. If you want to have more than 250 free insertions, you must sign up for the Basic subscription level (or higher).
Also, before you commit to a Store, you should check your listing limits; the store subscription will have no effect on those limits.

Hi, Yes, you can do BIN And Auctions listings.
All the store does is keep your items sorted into categories you create.
Auctions and BIN items show up in those categories.
Also from your store you can add more personal to you stuff. Give your items some personality.
If you do the 25.00 store you can offer promotions and coupons.
The store front is really just an overlay to highlight your items. If all you want to do is be able to offer BIN items, I think there is a way to do that without paying for the store front. I have never done it, so I am not sure if that is correct.

Your Store name can be the same as your account name or something different.
There is a generic Store design. You don't have to do anything more than that.
Most of the decorative stuff is drag and drop.
If not put the decorative stuff on your desktop and then use the usual click and insert function.
It's not quite idiot-proof but I can do it, and I am pretty much a technodolt and Luddite.
Although it's been decades since I set up my Stores so there may have been changes.
Just keep hitting whatever the "next page" button is until it refuses to move on unless you do something.
You can do both Auction and Fixed Price listings in a Store.
There are things Store subscribers get that are not otherwise available. To say nothing of lower fees.

Thanks, I guess I'll do the starter store first to learn and get my inventory started. I will upgrade as my listing will increase.

I sure hope you understand the actual benefits of a store. With what you have sold recently my guess is it will not pay. Hopefully you plan to have 3x more sales with that store. Are you planning on changing your name of the store as I do not see a single vinyl listed ?

Great! Buy it now and auctions will work for me. The store design was influenced by "Visit Store" on sellers sites. I will do the starter first and go the next step as my listings increase.
Thanks

Starter first, basic next. I have plenty of inventory. It could take a few months to list 250. Just getting info before I start. I do want to do a nice Storefront.
Thanks

The Reason for this store is pretty much vinyl. I had to learn the selling part, got some parts with what I have been doing. My main goal was a record store. I have an inventory, thousands of records. I am hoping to use my logo to name the store. I did not list vinyl on other site for these reasons. I have sold vinyl in other forums in the past.
