ebay steals

If you ship out to people and they are happy, eBay will steal your money if they wont it! They lost money on banks so they will come for yours like they stole mine.

Returns & Refunds | eBay

No Returns does not mean No refunds.

Ebay steals? There are a lot more thieves on this platform than eBay.  Lots of stolen merchandise here.  I don't think eBay steals at all.

Re: ebay steals

Hm, interesting. So when eBay loses money from banks, they will come after me and steal my money? And they will do this when the buyer is happy? Thanks for the complete story. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for eBay, especially when I make my buyers happy.

Re: ebay steals

With so many negs, it is possible the OP has been accumulating Defects  which are penalized with higher FVF, as well as restrictions on the number and value of listings.

Or there is a Hold on transfers because of those Defects.

Or eBay has asked for further proof of identity, which may be demanded if there is a suspicion that a good seller has had their account hijacked.

Re: ebay steals

I've $ 10.000 in sales and a 4.9 rating. It's not 1 sale but a lot over weeks. They just steal when they can get away with it!

Re: ebay steals

EBay does not steal.  There is no mechanism for them to do so.  They are a regular business with accountants and managers for the accountants and a paper trail of everything they do.  They did not lose any money regarding 'banks'.  The seller's fees cover expenses associated with managed payments.

If you sold something to somebody and they were initially 'happy' it could be they became unhappy weeks later if the item broke and wanted a refund.  If you don't respond to a return request the money will be refunded and the buyer keeps the item.  It is not theft, it's ignorance of eBay policy and how to work with it.

Re: ebay steals

We can see your last three months of sales, you know.

Are your payments being Held?

Did you accidentally change the default Tuesday transfers to monthly? (Daily transfers are also a choice.)

And of course, the possibility of Defects is still in play.

Re: ebay steals

Don’t let them get away with it then. That’s when they’ll stop, right?

Why don't you call the Police?

That's what I would do if someone was stealing from me.

We can all see your replies. There’s no need to repeat the same thing over and over.

I'm not at all sure what that even means?  If your buyers are happy, why would Ebay need to step in at all?

How did Ebay lose money on their bank?

Did you have some buyers request returns?  Tell us about each one so we can try to help you.

I know you said that you have an Ebay rating of 4.9.  Ebay hasn't rated its seller by the DSRs [detailed seller ratings] in years.  While your feedback rating is very important, especially to buyers a 94.4% rating could be problematic for you.

If you want to see how Ebay has you actually rated as a seller, then you need to look at your Seller Dashboard.    There you will find the important info you need to know about.

Is Ebay holding your funds?  IF so do you currently have some claims you haven't had the chance to fully process yet?  Give us the details and we can try to help.
